Launch Event for Messy at Gjelina

Earlier this summer, I had the pleasure of partnering with Messy, the new haircare line by Alli Webb (founder of Drybar), for their intimate product launch event at the beautiful Gjelina in Venice, California.

Set on a sunny afternoon with the perfect coastal breeze and views of iconic California palm trees, the event brought together a group of media, friends, and VIPs for a relaxed yet elevated lunch to celebrate the launch of Messy's highly anticipated products.

As the event artist, I provided on-site calligraphy engraving for guests — customizing claw clips, barrettes, and hair serum bottles with names and personalized messages. Each engraved piece became a keepsake they could take home, combining beauty with meaningful connection.

It was such a joy to see the guests light up when they received their personalized items — many commenting on how special and thoughtful the detail was. Moments like these are why I love what I do: bringing brands to life through live, hands-on artistry.
